Mudd 501, Department of Psychology, Los Angeles, CA 90089-1061 We summarize a model of memory describing the formation of traumatic memories and circumstances that lead to the creation and recovery of traumatic memories. We structure the model so that it may be tested using the method of Strong Inference.
